When using the power cord, the battery is by-passed, preserving the life of the battery. The 2-place SPO-22, 4-place SPO-42 and 6-place SPO-62 are compatible with all standard aircraft headsets. This 2-place model has a satellite box for rear seat positions to keep unwanted headset cords out of the pilots way. A special HIGH-NOISE model, perfect for Ultra-lights and Kit aircraft, is available in the 2, 4 and 6 configurations. It filters out background noise, lowers the input level at mic amp, increases output signal, and mic interface can be modified to interface with Icom radios. Also features a sidetone modification.
